Boutique Renovation in Milan
For the Nineteen Sixty Nine boutique in Milan, Wadstrom helped realise the founder’s creative vision through a stripped-back restoration of the existing space.
The concept was not to add more, but to remove, reveal and refine. Once the space had been stripped back as far as possible, the ceiling height increased by approximately 1.4 metres and the usable floor area grew by almost 10 m².
Working from the founder’s ideas, Wadstrom coordinated the renovation, sourced specialist partners and executed key parts of the fit-out, including custom corten steel shelving, mirror and glass details, lighting, ventilation solutions, surface finishes and interior construction.
